About Amenaza
Why Amenaza
Cyber-physical security today is often reactive, fragmented, and difficult for boards to evaluate. Amenaza changes that. We bring clarity to the complexity of cyber-physical risk by modeling attacker pathways across IT, OT, and hybrid networks. We don't simply identify vulnerabilities — we simulate exploitation feasibility and align response strategy with executive priorities.
Unlike firms that apply compliance checklists or offer black-box software, Amenaza fuses consulting precision with threat science. Our deliverables are explicitly aligned to regulatory frameworks — including the SEC's 2023 cyber disclosure rules, OSFI's B-13 guideline, and the EU's NIS2 directive — providing defensible justification for cyber-physical security budgets, board decisions, and risk transfer.
Our credibility comes not from certifications — but from classified fieldwork. For decades, we've supported mission-critical systems where simulation accuracy means the difference between business continuity and operational paralysis. From modeling airbase vulnerabilities to securing nuclear control pathways, our foundation is built on real-world stakes.
About Us
Amenaza Technologies was founded over 25 years ago with a singular purpose: to bring mathematical clarity to cyber-physical security. From classified defense projects to nuclear infrastructure protection, our work has informed some of the most consequential cyber decisions made over the past two decades.
Our origins are rooted in environments where failure isn't theoretical — it's operational. What began as a specialized engineering firm advising defense and aerospace organizations has grown into a strategic advisory company serving critical infrastructure, energy, and Fortune 1000 firms worldwide.
Terry Ingoldsby — Founder & Chief Scientist
Terry is the visionary behind SecurITree® and a globally recognized expert in adversarial modeling and attack tree analysis. With deep expertise in systems engineering and threat simulation, Terry has led Amenaza's involvement in defense, nuclear safety, and cyber-physical strategy for over two decades. He has trained and consulted for both national agencies and enterprise risk leaders.
Christine McLellan — Director of Software Development
From Amenaza's inception in 2001, Christine has led the development of Amenaza's advanced threat modeling software -- SecurITree®. Defense contractors, critical infrastructure operators and CISOs all rely on Christine's ability to deliver the software functionality they need to plot the best strategic path forward. Christine both anticipates client requirements and responds to customer suggestions for software enhancement.
Together, Terry and Christine have shaped Amenaza into one of the most trusted names in cyber-physical risk strategy — with a reputation built not on volume, but on precision, discretion, and measurable impact.
